This plan identified lands with the greatest positive impact on flood control, water quality, and wildlife habitat in the region.
Houston Parks Board
Since 1976, Houston Parks Board has invested over $258 million supporting over 250 parks and creating more than 14,000 acres of new parks and trails. They work on projects, big and small, including Bayou Greenways, community programs, studies of Houston’s parks, and care for existing parks. But they don’t do it alone.
