The purpose of the Strategic Mobility Plan is to Identify mobility projects which are in need of either financial support or political/public support. Selected projects are to be within the North Houston Association (NHA) service area, and their completion will positively impact one or more of the following issues: mobility, safety, and economic development, and have an element of achievability.

The North Houston Association is a founding member of Houston Stronger, which today, works to find solutions to regional flood control by diligently working to ensure these plans include projects to help create a safer future for us all.

One of NHA’s 2023 legislative objectives was to win support for the Flood Infrastructure Fund (FIF) and continued funding for the Regional Planning Groups.

Our hopes are that with this information our membership will feel more informed on the issues facing our area and know who to get in touch with to help connect and influence the right policy at the right time.
